DunkXchange - Las Vegas 8/24/08
On August 24th, 2008, the DunkXchange event will head out to Las Vegas to hold an event at the Ice House Lounge. Before the actual event though the DunkXchange will host a skateboard event at James Gay III Park from 2pm-6pm. For the skaters and spectators who show up there will be a BBQ, live DJ and giveaways for the best tricks performed. After the skateboard event the actual DunkXchange event will go down at Ice House Lounge. If you live around the Las Vegas make your calendar for August 24th.

Sneaker Wars 08′
Calling all Sneaker Heads!! Do you want a chance to be crowned as Ottawa’s sneaker champion? Top of the World and Kapacity, in collaboration with Supra Footwear and LRG, present Sneaker Wars 2008. The idea here is simple. You send them a picture(s) of your sneaker collection with a small description about your collection. 3 finalists will be contacted and invited to attend to Sneaker Wars 2008 in Ottawa, Canada on June 12th at Babylon Nightclub. There each of the winners will display their Top 3 sneakers and will be judged on how they present them during the show. 1 final winner out of the 3 will receive a hefty prize package from Supra and LRG/Luxurie. All entires must be received by Sunday June 8th and you can send all your pictures to kapacity@gmail.com. Get your pictures together and send in those shots before its to late. Even if you dont submit an entry and you live in the Canada area this will for sure be a good event to attend for the night.
Supra Footwear Sample Sale
Big news for all you Supra Footwear fans out in the Cali area. Saturday, May 31st, Supra will hold a Sample Sale between 9am and 2pm. Heres your chance to grab a lot of goods which you wont seen in stores. Samples for clothing usually are a size Medium and Large for Tops and 32 & 34 for bottoms. Samples for Supra Footwear run in a size 9. Even if you dont wear a size 9 itd still be nice to have yourself a pair of samples which you could possibly flip one day. You dont see the Supra TUF Collection for sale but without a doubt your bound to see something good. If your in the area check it out on Saturday. Cash only.
Medicom Toy ‘08 Exhibition
In a few weeks Medicom Toy will host there yearly Exhibition at the Parco Factory in Shibuya. The event will run from June 21st till June 30th. We should be seeing some pictures of a lot of new toys coming our way once the exhibition starts so stayed tuned to Abnormal Style for more updates.
Dunkxchange San Francisco - June 1st
The Dunkxchange tour is set to hit San Francisco June 1st at City Nights. This stop on the tour will be presented by the crew at Nice Kicks and there will be special performances by YL, Trunks, Zmainy and Prolifical. There will also be a Suck My Kicks! sneaker battle going down. All this takes place once again on June 1st, which is a Sunday, at City Nights in San Francisco. 1pm to 6pm and $10 to get in the door.
ALIFE LA Spring Clearance
The ALIFE Spring Clearance Sale at the LA shop is still going on if you haven’t caught it already. The prices on many products have been slashed to way below retail price. Here your chance to pick up many ALIFE products at prices you wont believe before new inventory takes over the shelves. Make sure you bring that wad of cash though as check or credit wont get you squat. Still 2 days left so get down there before its over and everything is gone.
N.E.R.D - BBC NYC Flagship Store Signing
Skateboard P and the rest of the group N.E.R.D, which contists of Chad and Shae, will at the BBC Flagship Store in NYC for an autograph signing. BBC will release a limited number of special edition t-shirts this Sunday May 11th starting at 12 noon. Those who are lucky enough to snatch up one of the t-shirts Sunday will be able to meet with N.E.R.D May 13th when they show up in store. You will be given a chance to meet the members of the group as well as have your shirt autographed. The signing will happen between 4pm and 6pm. Make sure you get down to BBC tomorrow to grab those shirts before they sell out.
