About: New Era Cap

New Era Cap, stationed in Buffalo NY, is the originator of the true fitted cap. The company was originally started way back in 1920 by Ehrhardt Koch. New Era Cap makes the official on-field fitted hat for every single M.L.B. team as well as their Minor League affiliate teams. Along with the M.L.B. and Minor League Caps the company also holds licenses with the N.H.L., N.B.A. and over 200 College Universities.

You can find New Era Caps just about anywhere that fitted hats are sold. Im sure you have walked into Lids before or Hat Land and noticed the shelves are covered in mostly nothing but New Era fitted hats. Many independent shops also distribute New Era products in their stores as well. In May of 2006 the company opened its first Flagship Store in NYC. A few months after that in November the second New Era Flagship Store was opened in Buffalo New York. The next year in 2007 New Era opened up 3 more retail chains, one in Toronto, other in Atlanta and a third in London. With 4 retailers scattered around North America and a 5th stationed internationally in London this still wasnt enough for the company. In 2008 New Era opened up shop in Los Angeles, Irvine, and Philadelphia, and im sure there will be more to come as time rolls on. There is no fit in the world like a true New Era fit.
